Keys are special to me and I enjoy using them in designs. Here, single keys give way to overlapping keys, creating a dynamic theme: "All Keyed Up." The background is based upon an 8-end satin. The keys are silver gray, the background a dark blue. The result is a striking, large-scale patterning that is full of energy.
60/2 silk is woven in a modified Summer & Winter structure, showing off the design. Solid-colored borders all around are finished by 8-end double weave selvedges on the sides and hemstitching with twisted and knotted fringe on the ends.
